Funky Fresh Features!

Hello, y'all! I can't wait to get back to blogging more after the summer is over. In the meantime, I'm enjoying partying with you at HOT Fun in the Summertime (which by the way, our friend Kirby says sounds a little X rated...woops!) It was my turn to pick the features this week from the party, so if you made the list, please grab one of these:

Jen from Four Marrs and One Venus is a total riot!
She must be a lot of fun to hang out with! This week she shared her delicious peach pie recipe that made my mouth water...really... I had to go on a peach run after I read this post. Fortunately for Jen, she can walk outside her door and pick a tree to eat from! Uhhh... how nice is that?!!!

Danielle from Silver Pennies shared an already beautiful dresser she transformed into an even more lovely piece! She calls it "Beatrice". I call it Fabulous!

Deanne from Five Brothers One Sister showed us how she updated her kitchen art using her Mother's silverware and instead of using some boring scrapbook paper for the backdrop, she found some old newspaper ads from 1947! I thought this was super cool!

Deb from Lake Girl Paints made this beautiful, coastal art out of scrap wood. There's several places she's considering using it like as a headboard or a display in her long hallway, but I think no matter where it ends up, it will make a grand statement!

My heart melted when I read this post from Two Succulent Sisters. They shared their Mother's 103rd Birthday celebration. Yes, 1 0 3! On her special day, they arranged for a driver to pick her up in a 1931 Ford (like the one she owned in her 20's) and take her to the party. I thought this was the sweetest post ever! Happy Birthday to this beautiful lady!

Laurel from Chipping with Charm shared her backyard deck and patio. All the details are lovely, but my favorite thing is her vintage headboard fence! How creative!

And last, but certainly not least, Linda from It All Started with Paint shared her adorable, polka-dotted flower pots. These are so much fun, especially sitting on her painted number steps!

Thank you, all, for linking up last week!
I hope you'll come back tomorrow night at 8:00 (central) and link up again!
